SCROLL BELOW to see the scan of a wonderful self portrait by Hayley Mills.

The original was drawn in 1992 (and later donated for charity). Here is what Hayley Mills is reported to have said about this particular drawing in the following Hello magazine column (June 25, 1994 issue):

"A host of stars have got out their colouring pencils and pens to produce a series of revealing self portraits and cartoons.

The 'works of art' will go on sale to raise funds for the SOS charity at a Midsummer's Day sale. (NOTE: The aforementioned sale occurred many years ago!) Work by a wealth of household names include Phil Collins, June Whitfield, Bob Monkhouse and Michael Aspel. Any money raised will go into projects to help children with cerebral palsy.

Actress Hayley Mills was delighted to be asked to contribute to the gallery. She didn't find it an easy task to create a 'work of art' and her first attempts found their way into the bin.

'I can't draw to save my life,' she said modestly. 'It took quite a lot of paper and hours in front of the mirror studying myself before I produced something that I was satisfied with.'

Hayley is more positive about the efforts of other stars. She said: 'There is a surprising amount of talent at the exhibition. It's a most unusual idea and we are hoping to raise quite a lot of money.'"

"....Portrait prices start at 30 Pounds but Hayley is loathe to put a price on her head, saying 'It'll be nice if it is sold.'"
